'Twilight's' Kristen Stewart 'definitely' wants to replace Angelina Jolie in 'Wanted 2'
We love Kristen Stewart as the awkward and relatable Bella Swan in "Twilight," but does she have the range to replace Angelina Jolie's sexy assassin in the "Wanted" sequel? K. Stew is up for the challenge.
Yes. Definitely [I'm interested], as long as it was good," she tells MTV. "James McAvoy makes that movie different than most other action movies because he's a real guy, and I feel like most action movies don't have that. So if it had that [element], definitely. But I wouldn't just want to be in a mindless, blow-up movie. I'm not into it."
Don't get too excited, though. Kristen has met with "Wanted 2" director Timur Bekmambetov about possibly playing a new assassin in the Fraternity, but she hasn't signed anything yet. "The only two projects that I'm confirmed in now are 'On the Road' and 'Breaking Dawn 1 and 2'," Stewart clarifies.
Stewart also denied the rumors of her involvement in a stage production. "I would love to," she says. "That's also something that really intimidates me and I have no experience in it. But I would want to, definitely. I'm just not doing that right now."
