'Twilight: Total Eclipse of the Heart' special: Miley Cyrus karaoke, neutered werewolves and more!

twilight-jimmy-kimmel-special.jpgIn case you missed it (or it hasn't aired yet in your timezone), the Dish Rag is here with the highlights from the "Twilight: Total Eclipse of the Heart" special hosted by Jimmy Kimmel on ABC Wednesday, June 23.

Kimmel kicks it off with the big three (do we even need to tell you who? Okay fine -- Taylor Lautner, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson). The three main stars of the franchise seem like actual friends, which is always nice.

Taylor and Kristen spin tales of their world travels promoting the movie. We particularly like the South Korea karaoke -- Miley Cyrus seems to be the artist of choice, as both "The Climb" and "Party in the USA" are mentioned.

Pattinson reveals (much to Taylor's actual embarrassment) that the wolves in the movies could not have genitalia due to the PG-13 rating. Kimmel jokes that they are "spayed and neutered werewolves."

There's a funny bit about vampires vs. sharks and werewolves vs. sharks. Kimmel's contention is that vampires can best sharks while werewolves would drown. We say -- Syfy just found their next movie.

"Twilight" co-stars Bryce Dallas Howard, Peter Facinelli, Dakota Fanning and Xavier Samuel make an appearance as well -- at the "Eclipse" screening across the street. The audience (made up of 400 girls and two dudes) naturally goes bonkers. Elizabeth Reaser, Nikki Reed and Ashley Greene join in the fun later.

And of course, there is the hilarious (?) "Jersey Shore" send-up of "Twilight." The "Volare" joke did make us snicker -- but we bet most of the audience doesn't get it. We never want to hear the words "pickle cake" ever again, though.

If you missed the special and want to get caught up, check out the ABC website.

"Twilight: Eclipse" opens nationwide on June 30.

Wow. They showed about 4 scenes and I have to say it's looking like it may live up to my expectations. The acting looks MUCH improved! I can't wait for next Tuesday night. Midnight show, baby.

To be honest, the show started to get boring when the group got bigger. The remaining stars had nothing to say because Kimmy was busy to ask other cast mate. By the time, they moved outdoor, I completely lost interest in the show. The fans' questions were so boring. Remember the outdoor meeting was longer than it appeared, they must be very exhausted. I'd like to see the interview of Rob, Kristen and Taylor like last year. The atmosphere will be more cozy and questions will be more focused on three of them so they have more chance to answer.

Helen, this is the third Twilight movie. Rob, Kristen and Taylor have been interviewed numerous times and always get asked the same questions. The rest of the cast needs to be included more. I liked the shoe more when the rest of the cast joined the panel. I love me some Peter Facinelli. Wish Kellan Lutz had been there.
