'Twilight' Kristen Stewart: Robert Pattinson rumors are 'beyond annoying'

twilight-kristen-stewart-elle-uk-large.jpgKristen Stewart really, really does not want to talk about Robert Pattinson in the context of her social life, got it? That includes the picture she has of him on her iPod.

The "Twilight" starlet appears on the cover of July's Elle UK (via PopSugar) and also shares a few thoughts with the readers, including her feelings about the R-Patz dating stories.

"People always ask me if I'm dating Robert. It's beyond annoying," she says. "What I say is, that, why would I want anything that's private to become entertainment for other people? This is what I wanted to show you on here. People say that if I just tell them everything I'll be left alone, but God, you think if I tell people they'll leave me alone? They pick up every little scrap, and that's much worse."

She also addresses the negative press she gets from being in the spotlight.

"It really bothers me when people write nasty s*** about me and the perception is that I don't give a f***. It could not be further from the truth," she tells the magazine. "Your little persona is made up of all the places that people have seen you and what has been said about you, and usually the places that I am are so overwhelming in the moment and fleeting for me -- like one second where I've said something stupid, that's me, forever.

"What you don't see are the cameras shoved in my face and the bizarre intrusive questions being asked, or the people falling over themselves, screaming and taunting to get a reaction. All you see is an actor or a celebrity lit up by a flash. It's so ... a lot of the time I can't handle it. It's f***ed. I never expected that this would be my life."

For someone who really hates giving up privacy, a stalker is probably one of the worst things Stewart has to deal with.

"I have one crazy stalker," she reveals. "It's not worth changing my number for, I'm pretty certain that it's some girl who got my number from someone I went to school with who's like, 'I've got Kristen Stewart's number.'"

She also has sympathy for Lindsay Lohan, whom she thinks doesn't have the same great family atmosphere that she has.

"I had like, the perfect upbringing," she says. "It sucks for people like Lindsay, but it's not her fault that she's so off the rails."

"Eclipse" hits theaters on Wednesday, June 30.

I love her honesty!

I'm liking this interview. You go, Kristen! I wish the celebs could meet their REAL, normal fans. It'd probably give them some piece of mind.

I have liked Kristen's work for years.
It is too bad that she is forced to put up with such crap. I hope the hoopla around her dies down and she can have her life back. I think her attitude, both bad and good is totally justified.

Kristen is a 20-year old who is dealing with an enormous amount of pressure. Fans and the press should cut her some slack. How would any of us dealt with it at 20. I'm sure when you are famous there is a certain amount of publicity you ask for and deal with. The rest of it is just crazy.

I've seen the same story about her ripped apart six different ways and twisted all out of proportion. i.e. The whole "Kristen is pregnant" saga. One flip (obviously false) remark about it on Oprah and it makes magazine covers. No wonder she is losing her mind.

What is annoying is Kristen's ugly face. She is just a bad actress, ugly and just over all annoying. Poor thing looks like a man dressed as a woman. A monster, sad.

i think it's a good interview. i also appreciate Kristin's candor, and it's true, no one wants to be defined by a few bad/stupid moments. but she has to know that she really isn't. most ppl will have a longer view. most will just know you from your work. lighten up, Kid. (i know you'll say "easy to say" but it's true.) embrace your life (it's not so bad), and don't complain about it. just try more and more to make it what you want it to be. :)

Who picked this picture for the cover?, it's awful. It's not hard to make Kristin look terrific, so why pick an off photo? boo to Elle UK.
