'True Blood's' Natasha Alam sinks her teeth into Playboy

Russian-American model/actress Natasha Alam is joining the cast of "True Blood" for the third season as Yvetta, a new dancer at vampire club Fangtasia and love interest for the vamp owner Eric (Alexander Skarsgard).And even though she's the July covergirl for Playboy (with an 8-page pictorial inside), Natasha claims that the frequent nudity on the HBO series gave her pause.
"I'd never done nudity. I had to overcome a few things in my head to do it," the former "Bold and the Beautiful" actress tells the magazine. "[Then] here comes Alexander Skarsgard. He drops his robe, and he's not wearing a sock -- nothing. He's just totally out there, walking around as if nothing's going on. I was like, 'If he can do it, I can do it.'"
She also expresses an appreciation for Eric's right-hand (wo)man, Pam (Kristin Bauer).
"She's got that kind of witty sexuality and nastiness about her. She's really sexy and she's got big beautiful lips."
While the sexuality on "True Blood" is best described as "fluid" and Natasha herself as dabbled on both sides of the fence, she claims to have figured herself out following a dalliance with a fellow female model.
"We dated for a month, and then I realized I wasn't learning that way as much as she was. I guess to me it was an exploration into something new."
Season 3 of "True Blood" premieres Sunday, June 13 on HBO.
