'The A-Team' premiere: A chopper, military tank attack Hollywood Blvd
The world premiere of "The A-Team," the 2010 blockbuster film based on the popular '80s TV series by the same name, certainly spared no expense to get the audience's "atten-shun."
Crowds of fans cheered the "A-Team" helicopter ominously circling Grauman's Chinese Theatre on Hollywood Blvd, Thursday (June 3). Moments later, most of the cast arrived in a huge tank that rolled down the blocked off street.
All pretty impressive for the action film about the antics of Iraq war vets on a special secret assignment directed by Joe Carnahan, starring Liam Neeson, Bradley Cooper, Jessica Biel, Sharlto Copey (you may remember him as the nerd hero from "District 9"), Patrick Wilson and Quinton "Rampage" Jackson.
Upon their arrival, Neeson described the film to the cheering crowds as "kick-ass" and Cooper called it "insane."
If the movie is half as exciting as the premiere, it's worth the price of the popcorn.
