Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag: Was the split scripted for 'The Hills'?

Something has been fishy about Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag's breakup from the start. First of all, we pretty much assume that every time she breathes or he blinks, they're doing it for publicity. Then, Heidi's sister Holly Montag tweeted that the split was a lie, because Heidi and Spencer are "LIARS." When news of Heidi's planned reality show with fair weather BFF Jen Bunney hit the media, we lost all hope that this might be real. Today, a HollywoodLife source close to "The Hills" claims that the break-up was "originally intended to be a story arc, but now it's a reality." Apparently, the duo noticed that their names weren't being dropped in the press as often, so they fabricated the split, but now it's "a case of art becoming reality."
Uh, we wouldn't call Heidi and Spencer's desperate look-at-me antics "art," but to each his own.
According to the source, powers that be at "The Hills" throw ideas at Spencer and Heidi to keep them in the news, and the couple is hardly discerning. "It's easy to present them with crazy ideas, because chances are they'll say yes," says the source, citing such stunts as Heidi's surgery-o-rama and her brief professional relationship with a psychic.
So are the Pratts dunzo? "It's definitely true that they're having marital problems, but whether or not this is the end of their marriage, I doubt it," says the source.

The only thing these two do well is completely contradict the teachings of Christianity- a faith they both claim. I'm not even talking about the multiple surgeries, just her slutty album and his worship of minerals and their huge heap of lies. Next fabrication will be an affair or pregnancy. Not only disgusting, but getting kind of predictable...
I only wish she had split before doing the plastic surgery for his benefit. She was so beautiful, the surgery added 10 years to her looks.
Oh absolutely, she ruined her face with the last set of surgeries...If MTV asked me to get surgery to gain more publicity I would say NO WAY! I mean, that is permanent and you can't undo it. I don't see big time Hollywood actresses being asked to get boat loads of plastic surgery to gain publicity for an upcoming movie, so why in a REALITY show of all things would MTV ask a reality star to do it? It's insane...Also, MTV might as well just come right out and say the show is scripted considering Holly (Heidi's sis) said on the after show that she hadn't saw ANYONE in love on the show including Speidi, plus they are always alluding to the fact that it's fake on their own after show. Then you see Kristen and Brody hooking up on the show, when in real life he's supposed to be with Avril Lavigne. The only thing I do not understand is if Speidi was a fake romance generated by MTV for the show it would make sense that they'd be divorcing since the show is ending and it's been rumored that they are, yet a lot of people think that it's all another publicity stunt. My question is why would they stay together since the show is ending IF in fact it is scripted? Could it be b/c Heidi may have another reality show spinning off when the Hills ends so they want to keep the fake romance going? Why in the world would someone put themselves through plastic surgery, fake relationship that leads to marriage that has lasted for years ect. for a stupid show? I don't care how much they offered me there is no way I would get 10 plastic unnecessary surgeries in one day. The saddest thing is she looks terrible after this last set of surgeries and it can't be undone. She has added years to her appearance instead of taking them away, her face looks bloated, her eyebrows look like they were raised to far so she always has a surprised expression on her face. To top it all off, she called the cops on her own mother for showing up announced at her house. Yet, she claims she's a Christian? Did she even read the Bible or just skip over the part that says honor thy father and mother? Can you say hypocrite? I hope it all comes back to her...Funny, I was a fan of hers when the show started and now I can't stand to even look at her scary face.
I used to feel sorry for Heidi. I really believed that love had clouded her judgment but to turn on your own mother for fame... can't fathom that.... the way she allows Spencer to disrespect her family and her for that matter. I sure do hope that is just for ratings... to the contrary it wasn't love for Spencer tht ruined Heidi its love of fame... the negative kind.... Finally I'm glad people are being honest... Heidi I'm sorry but your MOTHER IS RIGHT... you were prettier before all the surgeries... now you look like an experiment gone wrong... Mrs. Frankenstein maybe... I'm just sayn..
