'Scream 4': Lauren Graham is 'probably the killer'

"Gilmore Girls" and "Parenthood" star Lauren Graham is the latest victim star to sign on to "Scream 4," the reboot of the popular franchise scheduled to hit theaters in 2011. Watch as she tells Jay Leno on "The Tonight Show" all about it.

It turns out Lauren Graham is playing Emma Roberts' mom in the new movie and THAT'S ALL SHE KNOWS! DUN DUN DUN! She jokes that she's "probably the killer." That'd be excellent. Hayden Panettiere and Rory Culkin have also been linked to the movie, along with the three surviving "Scream" actors Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox and David Arquette.

Jennifer Aniston, as a bestie of Courteney Cox, was also rumored to be involved as the infamous opening-sequence victim, but a source told Zap2it that is untrue.

The really amazing thing about this interview is not "Scream" related, but actually that Lauren Graham played the World Cup mascot Stryker the dog during the US-hosted 1994 World Cup. That is AWESOME to the nerdy sports fan inside us.

But how excited are you getting about "Scream 4"? We are so pumped!

That's awesome news, I hope she dosen't die!!!

Can't wait for Scream 4!!!

Wow. That'd be like Gilmore girls meets Michael Myers. Yes Please! Lets hope she has an actual part and not just be the 'mom of'- role that hollywood is sick with these days.

How much money do studio execs need to loose before they realize we want to see the entire spectrum of ages in a film, not just the 'rich white kids with problems' microcosm.

Remember, in the OC- the best RWKWP production on record, the parents were in the show as much as the kids. And atleast some of them acted their age.

What on earth is RWKWP?

Rich

White

Kids

With

Problems.

So, are we supposed to believe that the Patrick Dempsey character from "Scream 3" isn't mentioned? He didn't get killed, so I guess he'll be forgotten.

Tim it's been 10 years why should he be mentioned. He might still be cast. The movie doesn't come out until April 15, 2011.

I think it will be a female killer this time, or a pair of female killers. That scenes sticks out in my mind where the two girls are sitting and said they think the idea of a killer stalking women is attractive.
