'Saved by the Bell' star Mark-Paul Gosselaar files for the big D

Zack Morris is back on the market, ladies.

"Saved by the Bell" star Mark-Paul Gosselaar sure didn't wait long. Just two weeks after announcing a separation, he filed for divorce from his wife Lisa Ann Russell on June 18.

Gosselaar and Russell, 38, were married in 1996. The couple has two children -- a son, Michael Charles, 6, and a daughter, Ava Lorenn, 4.

The divorce papers cite 'irreconcilable differences' and the actor is asking for joint custody of their two children. Here's hoping for an amicable divorce for everyone's sake.

His career sounds like it's doing better than his personal life. Gosselaar did a hilarious spoof of his "Bell" character on Jimmy Fallon's show last year. There's also buzz about a "Saved by the Bell" movie that might include his old girlfriend, Lark Voorhies.

He's appeared on TNT's "Raising the Bar" and he's also filming the new TNT series "Franklin and Bash." And he's also gonna romance Mary-Louise Parker in the new season of "Weeds." Sadly, only for one episode.
