Salma Hayek and Maria Bello scared by a 'Grown Up' snake
Movie junkets tend to be pretty sedate and reptile-free affairs. That wasn't the case for Salma Hayek at an outdoor sitdown for her new movie "Grown Ups."
While taping an interview for "Extra," Hayek and co-stars Maria Bello and Maya Rudolph were unpleasantly surprised by a big -- but harmless! -- snake slithering along the deck where they were all sitting.
None of them looked happy to see the creature (and "Extra's" Terri Seymour bailed out too), but Hayek in particular seemed freaked out. "Somebody do something!" she wails in the video, while perching on the arm of Rudolph's chair. Bello takes to higher ground too, but she seems more amused than frightened, later saying "It was like a python! It was thick."
(Hayek, you'll note, didn't stick around for the post-mortem with Bello, Rudolph and Seymour.)
If Hayek is as afraid of snakes as she seems to be from the video, then our respect for her as an actress just went up a little -- because before Britney Spears danced around with a python on MTV, Hayek did it in "From Dusk Till Dawn." To refresh your memory:
