Mena Suvari marries Simone Sestito in Italy

Mena Suvari, best known for her roles in "American Beauty" and the "American Pie" franchise, has married concert producer Simone Sestito in Italy. People confirms that the ceremony took place in Vatican City, with a private reception following.Suvari, 31, met Sestito, 25, at the Toronto Film Festival in 2007. They have been engaged since 2008. The majority of Sestito's family lives in Rome, hence the location for the wedding. A friend of the couple says, "The ceremony was truly unique and Mena looked breathtaking. They are very much in love."
Last Saturday, June 19, Suvari tweeted: "Well, L♥vers, here we go!!! LolI'm about to board flight for Roma! I'm so excited, I can't wait! (Except for the loooooonnnng travel from LA, which I'm not particularly looking forward to! Lol)Everyone at the airline has been so friendly & I'm thrilled to be reunited with @issimomusic and experience ALL the magic that is Italy!I hope you all are well & enjoying your wonderful weekend! ♥☺♥"
Suvari's next project is "You May Not Kiss The Bride," with "Brothers & Sisters" hottie Dave Annable and "American Idol" alum Katharine McPhee. We're thrilled to hear that she's happy, especially after the news of her "American Pie" boyfriend Chris Klein's second D.U.I. arrest.
