What with former "Alias" co-stars Michael Vartan and Greg Grunberg's recent comments about how to their minds there is only one Sydney Bristow -- Jennifer Garner -- we've found ourselves thinking about how much we like the actress as well this week.Turns out we're not the only ones.
According to HR, Garner is in talks to join "Arthur" remake which has already signed on Russell Brand and Helen Mirren.
However, she's not up for the Liza Minnelli role. That's gone to Greta Gerwig.
Instead, she would play the heiress that drunken playboy Arthur's mother is insisting he marry as a condition of receiving his inheritance.
What? They couldn't get Selma Blair?

Jen's career since "Alias" has been a self-inflicted rom-com train wreck (with the exception of "The Kingdom"). Major disappointment with her seriously impaired judgment.
