Jake Pavelka dumped Vienna Girardi by phone for 'Drop Dead Diva' role

Look, we didn't expect Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi to last forever, but this is just cold. Pavelka revealed to People that he kicked his fiancee to the curb in a phone call because she was distracting him from his "Drop Dead Diva" character."One of the keys to acting is you have to get out of your head," he says. "This [show] didn't hire me to be Jake, they hired me to play Toby Davlin. I can't be Jake and sell this character."
Oh, Jake. You're so method.
According to Jake, trust issues in the relationship with Vienna made it difficult for him to focus on the whole acting thing. "It's been a struggle thinking about my relationship and going in front of the camera and shooting," he explains.
Dumping her over the phone? That's so Joe Jonas circa 2008. "It was a difficult conversation on the phone," Jake admits. "But the relationship was headed in that direction."
For Vienna's sake, we hope Jake's "Drop Dead Diva" stint is the most heart-wrenching, Emmy-worthy performance ever.

Anyone who believes the Bachelor/Bachelorette shows are real...um, i got some oily beach-front Gulf property for you about now. Seriously folks, if any of the ppl actually fall in love, it is just incidental, like anyone could fall in love with someone at their workplace. These are just actors, ppl being paid to put on a show (and yes, sometimes actors/performers can happen to fall in love) but it's not what the show is really about. First and foremost, it's a PERFORMANCE. so viewers should keep that in mind.
Jake was/is a douche. and Vienna? she's just ugly unsophisticated and stupid.
The fact that Vienna thought the love was real is funnier that her being dumped by phone. Come to think of it, isn't being dumped the process to become the next bachelorette?
