'Hot in Cleveland' romance: Carl Reiner dates Betty White. Is Dick Van Dyke next?

Betty White recently had a hot date with Carl Reiner.

And she told The Dish Rag during our set visit Wednesday (June 9) they had such a blast that a second date is in the planning stages for her new sitcom, "Hot in Cleveland" -- also starring Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves and Wendie Malick.

Reiner guest-starred as Betty's arranged blind date. "They had so much fun," says Leeves. "The little light goes on on the camera and you can just let them go."

And when we ask if there was anyone else Betty would like on the show, she quickly answers, "Dick Van Dyke! And maybe Mel Brooks?"

Are you ready, guys? Sounds like the show -- which premieres June 16 on TVLand -- is lining up great guest talent. Leeves is psyched about Juliet Mills playing her mother a few weeks ago. And Malick has a hot date this week with rocker Huey Lewis, who plays one of her ex-boyfriends. There's a even sex scene that Bertinelli calls "hilarious, adorable."
 
"Huey plays an old rock-and-roll boyfriend who left me on the corner of Winslow,  Arizona," Malick says. "He's giving his guitar to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and I want to go for a little payback but I end up falling for him all over again. "
