Heidi Montag files for separation; cites 'irreconcilable differences'
There's still no confirmation if Splitgate 2010 is for real or for show, but Heidi Montag is at least going to the necessary lengths to make it legally official.Montag filed for legal separation from Spencer Pratt on Tuesday (June 8) at the Santa Monica Courthouse, according to TMZ. The reason listed? Good ole "irreconcilable differences."
Read carefully though -- this is only for a separation. Montag did not file divorce papers. Legal separation means that her earnings will become her separate property from the date of separation (listed as June 8).
Interesting note... TMZ reports that under the section "community assets and debts," Montag wrote, "No such assets or debts."
