Gary Coleman's funeral canceled: Parents, ex-wife fight over body

Gary Coleman's funeral has been -- in a word -- put on hold.

Gary will not be buried this weekend as his ex-wife Shannon Price had planned.

In an earlier TMZ  report, Gary's parents wanted their son to be buried in his boyhood home in Illinois when they found out he was legally divorced from Shannon in 2008.

But now that a copy of a 1999 will has been located and will be shown to the court next week, his parents have dropped their burial demands.

Frederick Jackman, an attorney for Coleman's parents, said the recently discovered will executor named is Dion Mial, a friend and ex-manager of Coleman's.


According to TMZ, a mortuary is holding Coleman's body and his funeral has been postponed.

This is so sad. Your ex-wife -- who refused to take you to the hospital because she might faint --  pulls your plug and she and your estranged parents fight over your body. Gary, you're way better off in heaven.
