Charlie Sheen to agree to 30 days in jail as part of plea agreement

charlie-sheen-getty.jpgCharlie Sheen is finally looking to close the book on the felony menacing, misdemeanor assault and misdemeanor criminal mischief charges that stemmed from his Christmas Day altercation with wife Brooke Mueller in Aspen, CO.

According to People, a source close to the situation says, "Charlie intends to go to court on June 7 [to] plead to a misdemeanor and immediately begin serving his 30 days in jail. With good behavior, he could end up doing 15 or so days."

TMZ is reporting Sheen is required to complete 36 hours of anger management before the Monday, June 7 hearing and that his sentence will likely be knocked down to 17 days due to good behavior.

Whether it's 15 or 17, Sheen is still looking at upwards of 2 weeks in the big house, though People's source also says that he will NOT be on probation once he has served his jail time.

Sheen and Mueller are currently still working on their marriage while both have had stints in rehab this spring. They are also currently sharing custody of twins Max and Bob, though a month ago Sheen signed over sole custody of daughters Sam and Lola to their mother Denise Richards. and Sheen recently signed on for two more seasons of his CBS sitcom "Two and a Half Men."
