'Bethenny Getting Married?': Bethenny Frankel -- 'I was the runaway bride'
Bethenny Frankel has spent three seasons on "Real Housewives," yet she wasn't a real housewife. In her new series, "Bethenny Getting Married?," the Bravo star shows how she broke her streak as the three-time "runaway bride" -- and according to her, the new show isn't going to be a "Real Housewives" clone."It's more about a discussion [then-fiancé] Jason [Hoppy] and I have about planning the wedding or, you know, that I was the runaway bride and getting me down the aisle," Bethenny says in a recent press call. "And what it's like to shop for a wedding dress when six months pregnant. I think the devil's in the details."
That's an understatement. If you've been following every detail of Bethenny's path to marriage and a baby in the press, this show promises to give you the inside look behind the headlines and then some.
"I sweat the small stuff," she says. "I could like have a c-section and not be on any pain medication. But if you give me too small of a portion at the ice cream store I may have a nervous breakdown. Like that's kind of the type of person that I am."
In the show, we join Bethenny at her home with then fiancé, Jason Hoppy.
"You really get into my relationship with my husband," Bethenny
explains. "And what it's like for me to have gotten myself down the
aisle and to be pregnant and all of these changes in my life. And it's
really funny, but it's really emotional."Some of that emotion comes from Bethenny's decision to start going to therapy, which will be a recurring theme in the show. The woman has issues, and she'll be the first to say so.
"When you're pregnant while engaged, while planning a wedding, while trying to run a business, while shooting a show, blah, blah, blah, while doing a book tour," she says. "And formerly having been afraid of commitment it's not a bad thing to kind of lock the door before you get robbed, you know? Go to the therapy before you have a breakdown."
And just in case you're going through "Real Housewives of New York City" withdrawal, there will be some cameos from the cast. Alex McCord and her husband, Simon vanKempen, appear in the premiere episode. Ramona Singer will be dropping by this season, as well. But there's no Jill Zarin in sight.
"It's only to the extent that what's really going on in my life," says Bethenny.
"Bethenny Getting Married?" premieres at 10 p.m. ET Thursday, June 10 on Bravo.

Bethenny Frankel of The Real Housewives of New York appeared on The View on Thursday and had some comments about notorious reality tv villain Omarosa and her career.
Well Omarosa is fighting back at Bethenny and her gay husband (O's words!) and here is her response, exclusively to PerezHilton.com:
"Bethenny's comments about me and my career on VIEW today were unprovoked anduncalled for. I have always been cool with Bethenny and we have never has any beef.
Today she tried to act like her show was superior to my new show and her book was superior to my book or her career was superior, I was surprised that she went there with me!! She got her start or the Apprentice just like me. She is on a NBC show just like I was. She is making a living in the world of reality just like me.
BETHENNY NEEDS A REALITY CHECK!!
I have never once said a bad word about her or all of the rumor swirling around about Jason and his sexuality - EVERYONE knows he's gay but we never said anything- because she was HAPPY.
When she got a tummy tuck with her c-section after the baby and pretended that she just LOST the baby weight NATURALLY - none of us said anything because she was happy.
But now that she is hurling insults at EVERYONE including her Real House Wives cast mates and people like me who have always had her back- the gloves are off.
Bethenny Karma is a ***** and so are you!!"

Once upon a time I was a fan of B she was an independent woman but then she reality whored out. Found a guy who was equally into being into the spotlight got knocked up and whored out a new show where the spotlight wasnt shared. Sad Sad Sad Pathetic joke of a woman.
yeah a pre-mature C-section, how convenient for not stretching out that body (gaining the extra weight for) the last 4-5 weeks worth. she's had her ***** done, yes now i am sure she told them to tighten up that tummy after the C-section, why not? i can believe her hubby is gay, but he does seem a nice guy. maybe they just wanted to have a kid, she certainly doesn't seem all "in love" with him. maybe it's more of a convenient arrangement for them both. Bethenny should shut her fat mouth.
I love Bethenny's great sense of humor....and by the way, you cannot have a tummy tuck after a c-section. no doctor would do that. stop hating on her, she is a breath of fresh NYC air and I love her new show!! and her husband is not gay you idiots!!!!!

The other poster is right...you do not have a tummy tuck after a C-section. I was always very thin and still am and I don't do anything.Actually all 5 siblings in my family are thin. And we are all in our late 30's to 40's age ranges.
I had a puffy face during pregnancy and lost it in 3 days and had my normal weight back in no time. Some weight gain is water weight. That water weight happens a lot. Her baby was premature also and often its that end of 9 months I was hungry and ate so much. Everyone is different. Our fat genes are also. Everyone needs to chill out on her weight..she looks normal and average.
