'Bachelor' costars say Jake Pavelka has 'gay tendencies'
Amid their nasty breakup news due to nebulous "trust issues," comes another revelation about the reason for Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi's allegedly nonexistent sex life. Although Jake once said that he wanted to chase hedown the beach naked (no mention of what he would do if he caught her), he reportedly gave ex-fiancee Vienna several excuses for not wanting to have sex with her before they were married.
Now some of past "Bachelor" and "Bachelorette" contestants have spilled to Radaronline that they think Jake may play for the other team.
"I think he has gay potential and definitely gay tendencies," a bachelorette from Season 12 says.
Paul Rosseau, who appeared on Season 4 of "The Bachelorette," adds, "I definitely think he has gay tendencies, not only because of the way he dresses but also because he didn't want to have sex with a beautiful girl and never really tried with the other girls on the show. Nothing personal, Jake!"
Richard Mathey, also from Season 4, says, "I'm not sure if he is gay, but it seems he just has no experience with those types of women that are on the show."
Friends of Vienna also ponder Jake's sexuality.
"Vienna told me, 'I don't think Jake is into girls,'" a friend of Vienna's told Radar.
But hold on.
One of Jake's childhood friends explains, "He's most certainly not gay. If he wanted to go out and just get laid by beautiful women, he could, no doubt. But sex to him means and has always meant something. He was that guy in high school that waited for the relationship to deepen before he slept with a girl."
Really? Which guy is that? Because no guy like that went to our high school. How about yours?

amazing how when Jake makes a decision to not have sex based on morals and his ethics it is considered to be so outrageous that he must be gay.

I think he is gay because he talks like he is and acts like he is. Did you see how he danced in DWTS and also cried like a little girl. You can tell he's in denial like Ricky Martin and Lance Bass he will come out of the closet soon! Don't worry folks.
Straight or gay, there are many women and men that would love to have him.
I agree with the first poster though. While 99 percent of men think and act in homage to their junk, that doesn't make the 1 percent who don't gay.
Maybe Elizabeth Snead (writer of article) would've known more guys who wait if she had held out a little longer herself. I knew plenty of guys who "wanted" to sleep with a girl long before he really would. They figured the cheap ones were the ones who got used a lot and the ones they had to work harder for were "worth" more.
Who really cares if Jake is gay or not...The point is that "waiting till marriage" just seemed like an excuse. He was looking to use her for fame, but had no intention from the get go of marrying her. He is phoney fake Jake. He must have some incredible willpower, and why is he using this excuse now? Has he always wanted to wait with the other women he dated? Would be interesting to hear from women he previously dated.
to the bachelor contestants...jealous much ? If he wants to wait he is to be admired and if not, could it be he just picked the wrong girl at the end !
my vote is that he is gay and playing it str8 for the time being to get his foot in the celebrity door.....basically too good looking and self-conscious about it to be str8.. semi narcisstic vibe says he's gay ..

I don't think he is gay. If he thinks waiting for marriage is the right thing to do, I salute him. Not many men would do that. He surely picked the wrong broad on the show. She looked cheap and easy.
