Amanda Bynes has been quite the busy beaver on Twitter recently. In the past 5 days, she has declared who her idols are, her likes and dislikes in men and that she is quitting show biz.Says Ms. Bynes, with the Dish Rag's comments in italics:
"My mother Lynn and my grandmother Anne are and my grandmother Helen (RIP) are my idols"
Awww, that's nice.
"My other idols are Marilyn Monroe (RIP) and Angelina Jolie"
Um, okay. Mom, grandmas and two of the most beautiful women who have ever lived. We're sure your mom and grannies say, "Thanks."
"I hate perverted dudes ew"
We'll assume she means "ew" as in yucky, not as though she is talking to the magazine or perhaps implying that there are "perverted dudes" at Entertainment Weekly.
"I save my energy for someone who deserves it and earns it"
Right on sister. We hear black men earn your energy... oh, look at that...
"I like black men I'm very attracted to them just fyi"
Um, okay. Bit of a non-sequitur, but good to know?
"I've never written the movies & tv shows I've been apart of I've only acted like the characters the producers or directors wanted me to play"
It seems dear Amanda has sussed out just how this "acting" stuff works so it's good that acting is her chosen profession...
"I don't love acting anymore so I've stopped doing it"
Ooh. Spoke too soon.
"I know 24 is a young age to retire but you heard it here first I've #retired"
Amanda, if you were a gymnast, you'd be positively ancient. But for an actress? That's a bit early, we think. Though we can't wait 'til "She's the Man 2: Sex Change Boogaloo" comes along and you regret that you "retired" on Twitter.

Her last staring role in a movie was in 2006,and it flopped and the one before that flopped too.Hollywood is not knocking down her door anymore,so she has to tweet to get it's attention,it's really pathetic!! In Hollywood an actor or an actress is only big when they keep having "HITS" once the "HITS" stop, they are dropped like a rock. This is what has happened to her,and her movie roles. One dud to many, and nobody wants to hire her anymore for staring roles in a movie!! BOO HO,HO, CRY US A RIVER!! NOW GO GET A JOB AT TACO BELL!!
She has a movie coming out in the fall so exactly has she retired. I think the problem with me is she will always be the Ask Ashley girl from All That.
When you can't get roles, and give up, that's not retiring. It's called quitting.
