'Twilight: Eclipse' reshoots with Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner were 'fantastic'
Even though "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" will be released on June 30, a few reshoots and pickup shots were necessary in Vancouver, British Columbia over the weekend.Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner shot their scenes the first two days, according to Vancouver blogger Mandy, and then Robert Pattinson came on board later for his shots. "Twilight" author Stephenie Meyer was also on hand, for what purpose, it's not certain.
Previously, Canadian site Lainey Gossip had reported that there were creative differences with "Eclipse" director David Slade and that he wouldn't even be present for the reshoots. She even tweeted out the cryptic statement, "An argument between two people who are not lovers is making things tricky. Because one has disrespected the others skills. Or lack thereof."
To the contrary, Slade was definitely on hand in Vancouver for those shots, and later tweeted about his reaction to the rumors of discord on set:
"So strange, I go away for three weeks and return to all these upsetting completely fabricated rumours. Who makes this stuff up as news.
"REAL NEWS: last 3 weeks have gone fantastic, pick up shoot felt more like a reunion. Rob, Kristen,Taylor the crew & I gave 110%. Onwards!"
Mandy reports that one scene between Jacob (Lautner) and Bella (Stewart) took place outside, so it could be one of the "meadow scenes," while the other two days were shot in studio.
We're just glad that everything seems to be okay and that the June 30 premiere won't be disturbed.

I read elsewhere that the entire reshoot story was fake.
Lainey updated with the truth. There was a disagreement with Slade and Robert Pattinson. They did reshoots because Meyers was unhappy. Why else would she need to be in Canada and on set. Some shady stuff is going down. Summit is not happy with Pattinson for being late. We'll hear more this summer. Rumor also has it that they didn't want him to sign onto "Water for Elephants" because it interferes with his "Eclipse" promotion. Pattinson is not happy that they want him to be their new trained puppy. Oh the drama.
I've been out of the country and I come back to what?! I'm a huge Robsten and Twilight fan. Why is DS hating on Rob? What happened? I don't recall there being a meadow scene for Jacob and Bella. Please someone tell me that they have not changed what we saw in those leaked stills. Now I'm biting my nails. Imax tickets are not cheap and if this is bad, I want my money back.
That does not sound like a David Slade tweet. Summit must have forced him to write that. I hope Robert Pattinson takes his self righteous attitude back to L.A. and doesn't film Breaking Dawn. He will see how much he needs Twilight when he loses it. He's already losing fans after the Details interview and other 'stuff'. I smell a summer of Rob hate and he brought it on himself.
Oh no, he upset you with the Details interview? Poor you. I'm sure Rob is crying right now thinking about how he has lost a fan in you and because of the supposed hate he is getting right now. Oh wait, that won't happen because he doesn't give a flying f**k. Can't wait for him to be done with the Twilight movies so that he can get away from psychos like you.
SO! Take Notice...Jacob was not in the meadow with Bella...and he best not be in it for Eclipse...OR...you might as well dump Breaking Dawn...Follow the BOOK Slade...Why Catherine did not do all four is beyond me..She was great...Don't mess with Rob and Bella.......
WHAT??? Why is everyone complaining? Here's the real story: Rob, Kristen and Taylor went to do a re-shoot that had been planned for MONTHS. And Rob didn't arrive later than Kristen and Taylor, because he and Taylor arrived in L.A. at the same time. So quit making stupid rumors. They just make people sound idiotic.
I don't know about you guys but the latest trailer scared the crap out of me. Why the emphasis on the zombie feast? IT IS A DAMN LOVE STORY!!! If they have messed up SM's amazing love triangle struggle and have over-focused on the vampire fight, they truley are idiots!!! I agree, Catherine H. should have directed ALL episodes to get the proper female perspective. Men just don't get it.
Rob does admitt in alot of interviews that he doesnt like to be told what to do. maybe summit is upset with him for signing on to WFE because of Eclipse promos cuz the scheduling is off. when are they filming BD? fall? and is rob still doing unbound captives? what ever happened to that?
