'Twilight Eclipse': Choose your Team Edward or Team Jacob People magazine cover

"The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" film release is fast approaching, and People magazine has put the readers into Bella's position.

Should Bella (Kristen Stewart) choose vampire love Edward (Robert Pattinson) or wolfy friend Jacob (Taylor Lautner)? Should you buy the People magazine that features R-Patz on the cover that features Taylor? Decisions, decisions.

Obviously, we each have our own preferences, but is People magazine biased?

Comparing the covers side by side, we see the identical format with the upper right hand sections devoted to Stewart, Pattinson and Lautner with the caption: "All About Their Lives Now." So far, so good.

On both covers, a nice large picture of either Pattinson or Lautner is featured, with the words, "The Stars of Eclipse."

It's the bottom righthand corner that's the big difference. On Team Jacob's cover, his rival is featured in the bottom right with the words: "Robert: Hottest Guy on Earth." It's vice versa for the Team Edward cover, except for poor Taylor's bottom right photo, he only gets the caption: "Taylor: All Grown Up."

To us, "All Grown Up" can't really compete with "Hottest Guy on Earth," which sounds pretty definitive. Maybe People should have captioned Taylor's "Hottest Bod on Earth" or something to make it even?

Anyway, no matter what cover you pick up, there's plenty of each in the magazine, which boasts "145 Fabulous Photos" of the cast.

"Eclipse" opens on June 30.
