Simon Monjack: Brittany Murphy's husband found dead at home. Cause unknown

Writer/producer Simon Monjack, most known for being married to actress Brittany Murphy, was found dead Sunday (May 23) night at his Hollywood Hills home.
The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the address on Rising Glen following a 911 call for an "unspecified medical aid request," reports the Los Angeles Times. Monjack was pronounced dead on the scene.
According to police, the cause of death is not immediately know.
Monjack's limited credits include 2006's "Factory Girl," starring Sienna Miller as Andy Warhol Muse Edie Sedgwick
His wife, Murphy, died this past December (also at the couple's home) accidentally.
Despite being plagued by rumors of illegal drug use and an eating disorder, her death was brought on by a case of pneumonia, an iron deficiency,
anemia and multiple (prescription) drugs that were found in her system and caused her

Oddly enough, two weeks before she died, paramedics met the couple's return flight from Puerto Rico at LAX and took Monjack straight to the hospital because he was experiencing trouble breathing. Murphy said he had had an asthma attack, but the medics felt that it was more serious and insisted that he seek additional medical attention.
