Report: Lawrence Taylor accuser lied about their encounter

The teenager with whom NFL great Lawrence Taylor allegedly had sex last week lied to police about the incident, according to a report.

A friend of the 16-year-old girl, who reportedly worked as a prostitute, told investigators on the case that "they didn't have sex, she's lying and he's innocent," according to the AP. The friend also told police that the girl said Taylor would be "easy money" because she wouldn't have to have sex with him. He reportedly paid her $300 to masturbate in front of her.

Taylor was arrested May 6 and charged with statutory rape and patronizing a prostitute. He has denied having sex with the girl and is reportedly cooperating with the investigation. The NFL Hall of Famer and ex-"Dancing With the Stars" contestant is currently free on bail and due back in court on June 10.
