Met Gala 2010: Rachel Zoe, Melissa George validate Jessica Simpson's bad fashion choice

We were just starting to recover from the ill-fitting, bright yellow Caroline Herrera dress Jessica Simpson wore this past weekend to have dinner with the president of the United States. We really thought Jess would see pictures of herself and exile the primary colors back to the Crayola box.

And then this happened.

Both stylist to the stars Rachel Zoe and actress Melissa George showed up to the 2010 Met Gala wearing yellow.

Admittedly, Melissa pulls it off better seeing as how her dress both fits and skews more towards gold. But Rachel is a different story.

While Jessica's dress was obviously too small for her, Rachel practically swims in hers.

Ladies, there is a happy medium when it comes to both size and hue.
