Lynn Redgrave dies at 67
Actress Lynn Redgrave, part of the famous family of actors, has died. She was 67.The Oscar-nominated actress died Sunday night (May 2) in her Manhattan apartment, publicist Rick Miramontez told the AP on behalf of her children.
The actress had been treated for breast cancer in 2003.
Redgrave's death comes as another blow to the family, after her niece Natasha Richardson died suddenly in 2009 of a head injury sustained while skiing and a month after the death of Corin Redgrave, her older brother.
Lynn Redgrave, the younger sister of acclaimed actress Vanessa Redgrave, received Oscar nominations for roles in "Gods and Monsters" and "Georgy Girl."
Redgrave was also known for her contributions to theather, having acted both at London's West End and on Broadway. She performed "Three Sisters" in London with her sister Vanessa and teamed up with her again for the TV production of "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?"
In the U.S. she was best known for appearing on the series "House Calls" and for starring in a Weight Watchers ads in which the tagline was "This Is Living."
She's survived by her sister Vanessa, her three children: Benjamin, Kelly and Annabel Lucy, niece Joely Richardson and other lesser known members of the Redgrave family.

I personally spoke directly with Ms. Redgrave several years ago when she called the Hilton VIP Diamond Desk. She did not have her assistant call, she called. Incredible human being! So kind and humble. God Bless her loved ones. I am honored to have helped her.
