Lindsay Lohan cast as Linda Susan Boreman -- a.k.a. 'Deep Throat' porn star Linda Lovelace
Lindsay Lohan has apparently signed on to star in the independent film "Inferno" as Linda Lovelace, a 1970s porn star most famous for her role in "Deep Throat."Tyler Shields, a photographer friend of Lindsay Lohan, tells E! Online that Lohan is indeed portraying Lovelace in the film and that he has been asked by director Matthew Wilder to shoot the promos for the movie. Gossip Cop is reporting that the official announcement for "Inferno" is slated for the Cannes Film Festival in France.
The movie will detail the difficult things Lovelace went through and overcame, with producer Wali Razaqi telling the Los Angeles Times, "We've all thought that Lindsay would be a great choice for a while now, and we're all convinced that she is going to do it. For at least a year, the director and I have gone back and forth imagining how awesome of a performance she could give if she was in the movie."
What do we think? Lindsay's road to redemption where she turns in a tour-de-force performance and is the It Girl again? Or just another bump on the trainwreck of her life?

LL's success playing teens has not translated to adult roles. If she can accomplish that in Inferno, great. It sounds like a much better choice in scripts than the junk she's done lately. As much as it might be hard to believe, a lot of people just don't care about the personal lives of actors. Other than that most would probably be better off with an ordinary level of privacy.
will there be lindsay nudity? if not, it won't be worth watching!
