John Travolta's dogs killed at Bangor, Maine airport

john-travolta2.jpgTwo of John Travolta's small dogs were killed last week when an airport service vehicle struck them at the Bangor International Airport in Maine.

The accident occurred last Thursday morning, according to Popeater.

"The airport takes safety very seriously," said airport director Rebecca Hupp. "Many flights come and go without incidents. Clearly, this is an unfortunate accident. Our deepest sympathies are with the family."

Travolta and Kelly Preston own a home on Isleboro, Maine  and the family was traveling by way of Bangor. The actor's pub, Paul Bloch, told BDN he knew nothing about the dogs' deaths.

Wow. First, the loss of their son, Jett Travolta. Now, their two dogs? Harsh.

Scientology aliens took his dogs...

man. that's horrible.

Aww, poor dogs. Airlines kill quite a number of pets each year but not in this way. Not sure they're required to keep track of pet deaths they cause or they still don't have to. They should by now!!!
