There's nothing like boy trouble to bring girls together! When Joe Jonas broke up with Demi Lovato, Taylor Swift let bygones be bygones and reached out to her old friend, according to PopCrunch. Swift reportedly offered a shoulder to cry on, because she's all too familiar with how it feels to be dropped by Joe.In a statement, Jonas said, "Demi and I knew going into our romantic relationship that it may not be an easy one. I realize over the time we have shared together that I feel I care more about our friendship right now. It was my choice to breakup, but I love her as a friend. She's been there for me when I needed her. I will continue to be her friend and be there for her."
Poor Demi. Not only does she have to endure her break-up publicly, but Jonas announced to the world that he's the one who dumped her. Ouch! Luckily, Taylor knows how she feels. Jonas broke up with Swift in 2008 in a 27-second phone call.
The break-up inspired plenty of hit songs for Taylor, which catapulted her from country's sweetheart to a multi-genre superstar. Hopefully she can help Lovato make lemonade out of Joe Jonas' lemons as well.
Lovato is currently on tour with the Jonas Brothers and has no plans to leave the tour.
