Greyson Chance snapped up by Interscope? Watch your back, Bieber!
Greyson Michael Chance, 12, has the talent -- and the hair -- to be the next Justin Bieber. And, just like Justin, he was also discovered on YouTube, thanks to a video of his powerful rendition of Lady Gaga's "Paparazzi" performed at his school's six grade talent show held in a church.
CrazedHits reports (still unconfirmed) that he's now signed with Interscope Records and that Interscope [chairman] Jimmy Iovine closed the deal before any other label could even step in and meet the kid."
The shocking thing is that while he's studying piano for three years, he has never had a single voice lesson. He also writes his own songs, including one called "Broken Hearts," about two girls who apparently broke his heart.
Congrats, Greyson! Or should we call you Grey or GC for short?
Poor Justin. Only 16 and already another teen could be stealing his thunder. Nah, doubtful he he has anything to worry about (yet). Plenty of tween and teen fans to go around. Right?
Below, watch Greyson perform on The Ellen DeGeneres show -- and talk to Lady Gaga! -- on May 13. Does he have what it takes to topple Justin?
