'Gossip Girl's' Taylor Momsen likes her knife: 'It relaxes me to flick it'
Either "Gossip Girl's" Taylor Momsen: A) likes shocking people a la Angelina Jolie in her "I like to cut myself and wears my partner's blood around my neck" days
B) misguidedly believes that bizzaro news she shares across the pond won't make its way over to the U.S., or
C) simply has no filter and doesn't care.
But whatever her reason, we're still scratching our heads over the 16-year-old's recent decision to admit she enjoys playing with knives -- and that she carried some of her collection onto a plane.
Momsen told U.K. newspaper The Metro on Thursday (May 13), "I have a knife collection. My favorite's my switchblade.
"I flew from New York to Los Angeles and still had a couple of knives in my purse. I thought I took them all out but they got tucked up in the folds
"I went through security, took them on the plane, opened my bag to get my wallet in LA and they fell out. I was like: "Holy s***!'"
But the real kicker was her added statement that she finds playing with knives ... relaxing?
"I have my favorite black knife with me all the time," said Momsen. "It's a switchblade. It relaxes me to flick it."
The CW star also stirred up trouble across the pond earlier this week on British show "This Morning." While promoting her band The Pretty Reckless (which played at the Notting Hill Arts Club in London on Wednesday), she let a four-letter word slip out on live TV -- incidentally the same one she used in her Metro interview.
Her fictional counterpart Jenny Humphrey continues to stir up her own brand of trouble on "Gossip Girl" in the Season 3 finale next Monday (May 17).

In the first season,she was lokking so adorable and now,just two years later...she looks like another wasted child.What a shame.
And now when she gets to security the next time they will turn her inside out. Never figured out how celebs get through security with all manner of contraband. The TSA people get upset at the rest of us if we have anything as minor as an unopened toothpaste tube that has 4 oz in it. Maybe they don't feel that celebs could possibly be terrorists.

I predict in 6 years, she'll be either A.)blacklisted from Hollywood for being too much "trouble", B.)She'l be O.D.'d on Oxycontin speedballs, or C.)She'll be spayed by the need to play along and will become just another shallow, vapid waste of skin wearing $30,000 shoes and $20,000 handbags while running around L.A., blathering about whatever "cause of the week" she's pimping to ease her tremendous guilt for selling out.
