Ex-'Survivor' producer Beresford-Redman flees Mexico, still a 'person of interest'
Bruce Beresford-Redman's story is sounding more and more like a remake of "The Fugitive."The former "Survivor" producer, who is still a suspect in the murder of his wife, secretly crossed the Mexican border over the weekend without a passport or permission, according to TMZ.
Beresford-Redman had previously been told by Mexican authorities not to leave the country during the investigation of the murder.
"Of course he is still a person of interest to officials in this case," a Mexican law enforcement source tells TMZ.
Mexican officials still have Beresford-Redman's passport, which they seized after questioning him about the murder of his wife, Monica. According to the the producer's lawyer, Raul F. Cardenas Rioseco, Beresford-Redman didn't need permission to leave Mexico, since "he hasn't been charged with anything."
Rioseco plans on "soliciting" the passport as soon as Beresford-Redman pays up.

Not that I think he did the right thing. However, Mexico it's supposedly guilty until proven innocent. Also, what about how the Mexican government protected their own and established rules for extradition and protection of Cesar Laurean, the Marine who impregnated a fellow soldier while he was MARRIED and had a toddler, then bludgeoned his pregnant coworker, burned her remains and fled -- leaving his family, responsibility and justice. Mexico wouldn't release him unless the US said they wouldn't give him death. He should have suffered a slow torturous death of bludgeoning and burns!
