'Desperate Housewives': Julie Benz wants to dethrone Eva Longoria Parker (for charity)

Eva Longoria Parker and "Desperate Housewives" guest star Julie Benz are going up against each other off-screen for a good cause. They're both participating in a scavenger hunt around Los Angeles in The Rally for Kids With Cancer.

Anyone who raises $25,000 can participate and each car gets a celebrity navigator. Longoria Parker serves as the event's honorary chairperson and she's the reigning champ in both the Miami and L.A. events. Benz is gunning for her cast mate's title, though.

"I'm a hugely competitive person, and I love being able to compete against other celebrities and kick their ass. Which is my goal," Benz, who is currently starring in the ABC pilot, "No Ordinary Family," tells TV Guide.

So far, Benz is well on her way to reaching her goal. She's currently the top fundraiser according to the magazine.

"I'm trying to raise more money than anyone else, as well. That's my goal," she says. "So follow me on Twitter and donate five bucks."

Looks like Longoria Parker has a fight on her hands.
