'Dancing With the Stars' Carrie Ann Inaba picked over Niecy Nash to be a Fly Girl?

In case you haven't heard, Hollywood is a small town.Niecy Nash, who was a contestant on "Dancing With the Stars" this season, appeared on "Lopez Tonight" Thursday (May 20). And while she is now a woman of many skills -- "Clean House" host/comedian/actress/reality-show-hoofer, George Lopez got her talking about jobs she had and wasn't very good at, and jobs that she didn't get at all.
"I had a job at McDonalds for one day," Niecy says, "And I got fired."
But that's not even the good stuff. How about when she tried out to be a Fly Girl on the Wayans brothers '90s sketch comedy shoe "In Living Color."
"I got kicked out of the auditions by Rosie Perez," Niecy says. "We did the routine and she picked an Asian girl, and I think it was Carrie Ann Inaba (who was on the show from 1990-92).
"I was so devastated. 'Dancing With The Stars' was a way for me to make a comeback."
Even if Niecy is joking about the "Asian girl" being Carrie Ann, it still makes for a great story. The only way it could better is if she managed to fit that other famous Fly Girl -- Jennifer Lopez -- in there as well.

Niecey Nash always come across to me as just being loud and obnoxious. I don't mean to sound cruel, but on her Inside Edition Edition gig she is downright mean at times, as if she were the model to make absolute pronouncements.
She only kept her DWTS position due to the close association with the show at the production level.
I wasn't crazy about her before but she kinda won me over after seeing her on DWTS. And I had no idea Carrie Ann was a fly girl...learn something new everyday.
