After six in-vitro fetilization attempts, Celine Dion can finally announce that she is pregnant -- and not just once, but twice. Dion, 42, and her husband Rene Angelil, 68, announced Sunday, May 30 that they are 14 weeks along with twins. They will find out the sex of the babies next month.Dion and Angelil have one other son, Rene-Charles, but had been unsuccessful conceiving another child up to this point. The couple did announce back in August 2009 that they were pregnant but that pregnancy failed after three months and they went back to try in-vitro fertilization again.
Angelil tells People, "We're ecstatic. Celine is just hoping for a healthy pregnancy. She was hoping for one baby and the news that we are having two is a double blessing!" Dion is due to give birth to the twins in November 2010. The twins will be children Nos. 4 and 5 for Angelil, as he has two children from a previous marriage.

Well at 68, this man clearly has no desire to raise his twins. I just don't get how this is great news. An aging mother and an old man for a father and wow, isn't life wonderful? Why do people have such selfish needs? If they needed children so badly why the hell didn't they adopt some older homeless children. No, these two are only about themselves.
Brooke, you incredible dumbass. You talk about these people as if you know them and make outlandish statements like "This man clearly has no desire to raise his twins," as if that's fact or even hinted at in the article. People like you are so strange. Get a life. Stop making up fantasy stories you concoct in your imagination and projecting them onto people you've never met, nor ever will meet. Celine and René went to a doctor to get help concieving a child because they WANTED ONE. At which point, Brooke, in your delusional little world does your brain brain process this as he doesn't want to raise his twins?

anyway, even if her old hubby were to kick the bucket soon, i'm sure Celine has the resources and desire to raise them herself. it's not like she'd be the first or only woman raising kids on her own. duh.
wow to say that these two only care about themselves and wont care for their children is ridiculous! This is great news, so they may be an older couple(her husband sure is), but watching any fotage of these two with their son is so beautiful, they love and care for him more than anything else in the world and thats so clear to see! And Celine has done a lot of charitable and good things for others, so how could someone say they only care about themselves!
They have tried and tried to conceive numerous times i think this is evidence that they want children. and i think that this quote by Celine Dion sums it up so very well.. "I want to be more successful as a mother than I am in show business" that shows dedication to raising her child/children

I do have a question, even though it's none of my business. Why on earth do they not cut their other son's hair??? My goodness it's down his back and he's what...like 8 yrs. old. It looks horrible. I'm sure other kids give him a hard time about it. JMHO

WOW - I'm happy for Celine. Especially after last year's miscarriage - keep my fingers crossed that this time the twins will reach infant status. Just read that Celine will return next year to play Ceasar's again for 3 years. Such stamina. Now with this twin news, I wonder if she still will....
What a bunch of selfish a-holes. You were not meant to have children. you and your husband are too old to be bringing babies into the world for nannies to raise when you are gone. sickening
