'Buffy's' Emma Caulfield files for divorce from Cornelius Grobbelaar
Emma Caulfield wants a divorce from her husband, Cornelius Grobbelaar
After being married for almost four years, the "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" star filed divorce documents last week in Los Angeles Superior Court citing "conflicting differences."
The odd thing is that The Dish Rag spoke exclusively with Emma less than a month ago about love, marriage and finding her one and only, which isn't really nosy because it related to the theme of her new film, "Timer," about a futuristic device -- like wristwatch -- that sounds an alarm when you meet "the one".
In our video chat, she spoke about meeting her husband and how it was "something" at first sight and said she was happily married. They are both Aries. She also mentioned that they got married only eight weeks after they met and remarked how incredibly "hot" he is and how they were both "total nerds." She also thinks Robert Pattinson is hot so you know she has good taste.
Not that you expect an actress to talk about her marital problems in an interview but she sure sounded enthusiastic about this guy.
So what happened? We have no clue. Emma married Cornelius Grobbelaar in 2006. Court documents showed that they separated on 7th May, 2010.
Best known for her role as Anya on the hit TV series, "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," Emma currently stars in the film, "Timer," a sci-fi romantic comedy available on demand. She's also starring in a new TV series called "Gigantic," "Buffy" alum producer-writer Marti Noxon's new series about two young girls with famous celebrity families.
