Anna Chlumsky before and after: 'My Girl' all grown up

If you never saw Anna Chlumsky's first big-screen starring role, 1991's "My Girl," we feel sorry for you. Seriously, rent it as soon as possible. Chlumsky, then 11 years old, played the most adorable hypochondriac ever, opposite a young Macaulay Culkin. We will forever remember her singing "Do Wah Diddy" and wailing, "Thomas J. can't see without his glasses!"Chlumsky, now 30, is used to people recognizing her for the role she played nearly 20 years ago. "I look just the same," she tells the Chicago Tribune. Chlumsky quit acting shortly after she started college at the University of Chicago, where she toyed with dreams of being a horse dentist or a paleontologist.
Anna ended up as a fact-checker for the Zagat restaurant guide, then worked as an editorial assistant at HarperCollins until a psychic reminded her that she still wanted to be an actress.
Now she's got a handful of recent roles under her belt, including the requisite "Law & Order" guest spot and the critically acclaimed 2009 movie "In The Loop." She even reminisced with "My Girl" co-star Dan Akroyd at a "Saturday Night Live" party.
Though "Quinn-tuplets," the pilot she shot with Amber Tamblyn and Molly Parker, was not picked up by CBS, Chlumsky can currently be seen in the Off-Broadway play "Love, Loss, and What I Wore" by Nora Ephron.
Or, you know, you can go rent "My Girl." Really.

I loved My Girl!
So, My Girl and My Girl 2 are on ABC Fam right now... coincidence, I think not!
Anna is still so beautiful.
According to Dan Aykroyd they want to make a 3rd "My Girl" titled "Still My Girl".
She was great in the underrated In the Loop.
She was also on 30 Rock for a few episodes in season 1.
I really wanted "Quintuplets" to go to series. I love Amber Tamblyn! (I adored "The Unusuals" but I guess I was the only one.) I didn't know Anna Chlumsky was in it too. Hope it gets leaked online. Sounded so good.
Ever since I was 12, I've loved 'My Girl' to bits. I'm German, so I watched it back in Germany. I always wanted to be just like her. Hahah. :) I was always wearing a Ponytail and rode my bike a lot. Had the same hair color, back then. Those were times.... The 2 movies always seemed so 'American' to me and I love that feeling.
Now, I get to live here. Hahah.
I always wanted to meet her.... That would make my life. She's so pretty. :)

Anna was so cute in "my girl" ...I'm 25 now and seen the movie the first time when I was young ...I just watched it again tonight for the second time and was wondering who my lil crush grew up to be . So I googled her and found this site...she's a beautiful woman now!
