'American Idol' Crystal Bowersox's BF Tony dumped her on finale day!
This morning "America Idol" runner-up Crystal Bowersox revealed to Ryan Seacrest that her boyfriend, Big Tony, the one who wore flag pants for her, broke up with her the morning of the first "AI" finale performance.
That night she sang "Up the Mountain" with what Kara DioGuardi calls "a fire in her belly."
Crystal told Ryan on his KIIS FM radio show that Tony wasn't "cool with the lifestyle" of her chosen career. "It's cool though. We're both grown, logical adults. He's a small town boy and I'm a small town girl. But I want this more than anything."
She was, a little sad that he broke up with her on performance day. And that he didn't show up for the last night when the winner was announced. Right now, she thinks he's driving through Colorado on his way back to Ohio.
But she assures Ryan that Tony was "great through this whole thing," adding, "I get it, I get it. Some people can hang with it, some people can't."
