Alicia Keys' 'Unthinkable' video premieres featuring Chad Michael Murray

Songstress and recent "American Idol" mentor Alicia Keys premiered "Unthinkable," the latest video from her "Element of Freedom" album, on Wednesday (May 12). The video begins in the 1950s, where Keys' character, who is primarily surrounded by other African-Americans, faces disdain from her community for her interest in a white man.

In related news, it appears Chad Michael Murray, who has been M.I.A. for close to a year since his abrupt "One Tree Hill" departure, has found himself a job! Murray plays Keys' love interest. True to form, he appears to take himself very, very seriously while wearing a plaid muscle shirt.

All joking aside, the video is a refreshing departure from the pleathery, poppy dance videos we've seen recently from Keys' competitors like Miley Cyrus, Christina Aguilera, and even Lady Gaga. Keys and Murray court eachother while traveling through time, showing that interracial relationships have been a contentious issue through the years.

Another thing that remains consistent regardless of the decade? Chad Michael Murray's hair is always hilarious.
