'Twilight's' Robert Pattinson peek in 'Bel Ami'
Robert Pattinson's vampire days are on hold for now.
The "Twilight" star is in Hungary, shooting his latest project, the period film "Bel Ami."
The AP caught footage of R-Patz looking dapper in a top hat and suit, traipsing around the streets of Hungary fans gathered to catch a glimpse of him.
Based on the novel by Guy de Mauppassant, "Bel Ami" centers on a ruthless young man named Georges Duroy (Pattinson), who manipulates Paris' influential women so he can rise to power.
The story about money, sex and politics won't hit theaters till 2011. Before that though, you can catch Pattinson in "Eclipse" beginning June 30th.

Of course I will watch Rob in "Bel Ami". I am French so I am really looking forward to it and I hope it will be as good as "Dangerous Liaisons" another film adapted from a French book.
Robert was very good in this movie. Love him in all his movies and watching the different parts he is capable of playing. Looking forward to Eclipse,Bel Ami, Breaking dawn,Water for Elephants, and Unbound Captives. Go Robert love you.
I've read both "Bel Ami" and "Water For Elephants". Rob is perfectly cast for both. This young man can act. He also brings to the screen that rare "something" that a very few have.

Robert looks as bad in Bel Ami as he does in Eclipse. Robert can't act, all he had was his looks. I guess his career will end a lot faster than I thought.
I have all his fans to thank for that. All of you have made this guy nothing but a piece of meat which is ruining his career! Before you say you haven't go back and listen to all his interviews he has said on more than one interview he wanted different parts not just love stories. He won't get them! He couldn't pull them off but mainly its because all the studios know he's a piece of meat.
All his fans tell him how he has to think, who he has to date. Nobody in Hollywood would date this guy besides Miss Druggie USA Kristen. If you had a career going well why would you date a guy that has such psychotic fans that they would mount an internet attack on you. There are too many much better looking and more talented guys that don't carry that baggage.
Geez, Robert is a young actor. Give him some time already. Johnny Depp got his start in a mediocre TV show called 21 Jump Street. Who knows where Robert's career will go? It is a little early to judge him so harshly.
