'Twilight': Cullen clan talks 'Eclipse'

Robert Pattinson may get all the attention as Edward Cullen in the "Twilight" films, but he's just one of a family of vampires.

The Cullen clan (without R-Patz) took the time to discuss how they'll be in the center of the action in "Eclipse," according to the LA Times.

In this installment, Bella (Kristen Stewart) is in danger because she's being targeted by vamp Victoria (Bryce Dallas Howard), who's behind the recent series of killings in Seattle because she's raised an army of newborn vampires who have little control over their hunger.

The Cullens team up with the wolf pack, that includes Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner) to fight their common foe.

Here's what the family had to say about their characters:

Peter Facinelli: "Carlisle is very compassionate and he has a lot of killing to do in this movie," but because of circumstances out of his control, "he's kind of flying blind."

Elizabeth Reaser:  "Esme is still a vampire. She still wants to kill people all day long."

Kellan Lutz: "You're going to see a smile on Emmett's face from start to finish. He just loves to fight."

Nikki Reed: "This time around, [Rosalie] is much more of a participant. She's a survivor. This is her family. So if protecting Bella means protecting her family, she's going to do it."

Jackson Rathbone: "Fans will get some of Jasper's back story in 'Eclipse.' I got to wear the whole Civil War gear and everything. There's a bit of the softer and darker side of Jasper in this film."

Ashley Greene: "You're going to see the dark, dangerous side of Alice."
