'Twilight: Breaking Dawn' taps Bill Condon as potential director

eclipse-cullen-family.jpgBill Condon, director of 2006's Oscar-winning "Dreamgirls", has entered talks to direct the final two movies in the "Twilight" saga, according to Deadline.

If he does end up directing, he doesn't have an easy road ahead of him. The final "Twilight" installment is based on Stephenie Meyer's novel "Breaking Dawn," which is expected to be divided into two films.

In the novel, Bella and Edward have a child, Renesmee. Being half vampire, Renesmee is born violently, breaking many of her mother's bones and forcing her father, Edward, to chew - yes, chew - through Bella's uterine membrane. Seriously.

If Condon, who won an Oscar for his screenplay "God and Monsters," gets the job, we can't wait to see how he tackles these gory scenes.

i guess hes more interested in money and fame then good storytelling. The fourth book is really screwed up. If anyone should direct it, david cronenberg should given the aforementioned monster baby.
