Catherine Bach's husband Peter Lopez dead of a gunshot
"The Dukes of Hazzard" star Catherine Bach's husband -- Peter Lopez, one of Michael Jackson's music attorneys -- was found dead of a gunshot wound at their Encino home Friday (April 30). Bach played the infamous sexpot Daisy Duke on "The Dukes of Hazzard." The couple have two young daughters and have been married since 1990.
According to KTLA, when the police arrived at 11:30 AM, they found his body on the front lawn and are now investigating a possible suicide.
UPDATE: The Associated Press is reporting that Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter says a neighbor reported hearing a gunshot and someone at the home found Lopez's body. Bach's publicist, Steve Rohr, says the Lopez family has suffered a "tragic personal loss."
