Tara Reid calls off wedding! Cold feet or gut instinct?

Tara Reid has changed her mind, which is, after all, a woman's prerogative.

Her fiance Michael Axtmann proposed just four months ago by dropping to his knee in an upscale L.A. restaurant called The Little Door. He even got applause from fellow diners after she said yes.

But their spring wedding, which was set for May 22, is now canceled.

Reid, 34, has released a brief statement saying, "Tara Reid has confirmed that she will not be moving forward with her May 22 nuptials."

The pair had dated for several months before getting engaged. He is described as an Internet entrepreneur.

Maybe they need to get to know each other a bit better and a bit longer. Trust your gut, Tara. It never lies.
