Sharon Osbourne 'devastated' by Bret Michaels health problems

On Sunday's (April 26) episode of "The Celebrity Apprentice," Sharon Osbourne was delighted to join Bret Michaels' team, Rock Solid. She was thrilled to return to her "rock and roll world" where she felt most comfortable. Michaels and Osbourne have been acquainted since the early 80s, when Sharon often encountered his band Poison while on tour with her husband Ozzy Osbourne.

Zap2it was on the scene at the NBC Press Day when Osbourne discussed her old friend, who is currently in critical condition and under 24-hour surveillance in the ICU. "I've known Bret for nearly 30 years," she says. "I have a lot of respect and time for him. I'm completely devastated about what's happened to him, I am."

Osbourne also passed on her family's condolences in a statement to RadarOnline. "Ozzy and I are thinking of them all of the time, and our prayers and our love are with them." "Apprentice" head honcho Donald Trump says that Michaels is in "big, big trouble" but that the competitive attitude Michaels displays on "The Apprentice" may save his life.
