'Real Housewives of Atlanta' cast: Phaedra Parks and Cynthia Bailey make 7

The cast of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" has been under scrutiny for months. Rumors that NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak had been fired, Lisa Wu Hartwell had been replaced and new housewives had been added have definitely kept the rumor mills spinning.

According to Access Atlanta, April Love, a PR rep for Wu Hartwell confirmed that Bravo has added two new housewives to the Atlanta cast: Attorney Phaedra Parks and model Cynthia Bailey.

According to the site, Bravo started shooting on the Atlanta franchise's third season earlier this month. The site had no news on whether Bravo would be letting any of the five other housewives go or if they'll be accommodating all seven housewives in Season 3.

It wouldn't be strange for Bravo to do so. Currently, "The Real Housewives of New York" has seven confirmed housewives, as well. Socialite Sonja Morgan and wedding planner Jennifer Gilbert joined this season, though we have yet to see them on the show. Rumors have spread that housewives may have been let go from the show, but Bravo has not confirmed the chatter.

When Zap2it approached Bravo for confirmation of the two new Atlanta castmembers, they replied, "We announced that all 5 housewives from Season 2 will be back but no 
other cast announcements at this time."
