'Real Housewives NY': Who planted the article saying Alex and Simon may get fired?

real-housewives-alex-mccord-simon-van-kempen-parenting-book-thumb.jpgEven before Season 3 of "The Real Housewives of New York" began, the New York Daily News reported that Alex McCord and husband, Simon van Kempen, were in danger of being fired from the show.

"It was malicious," van Kempen told The Dish Rag. "Someone tried to preemptively strike at us to make themselves look better this season and it's really not working out."

An "inside source" told the paper that the couple was in danger of being cut from the fourth season of the hit Bravo show, because viewers didn't like them.

"I think that was planted by someone who's not a happy person and who doesn't like us and who wanted to be nasty," says McCord. "As of now, every single housewife is in the same boat. They will not make a decision that has to do with Season 4 until Season 3 is over."

When we tried to get Alex to name names, she gave us a few hints.

"If you want to put on your detective hat, it's probably not that big of a job to figure it out," says McCord. "It's not my place to say whom I think it is, because there was no actual name signed to it. But, I will say this. There are patterns of behavior that we all engage in - postive or negative. People do things over and over, because humans are creatures of habit, so look back."

Who do you think planted the article?

That is so obviously Jill (Susan Saunders/J.Samples/fabric) Zarin!

The words she uses, her sentence structure... hell, I can practically hear her "Lawn-Guy-Lynn'd" accent!

I bet even (blind) New York Governor David Paterson could see it is Jill!! LMAO!

I agree with Truth Prevails. This has Jill's scent all over it. And I thought the ATL housewives were horrible in pettiness...

This season has been all about "insiders are saying" nonsense. IAS Bethenny is estranged from everyone. IAS Alex and Simon are going to be replaced by Andrea Zuckerman. Funny how the IAS stories all relate to people who are fed up with Jill's selfishness and jealousy. From Season 1, JZ has tried to make the show revolve around her and the Countess. In fairness, Bobby Z. is a very caring husband and a good man, but Jill is incapable of being happy for those around her, be it Bethenny, Alex, or Kelly. It's sad.

Oh this has Ginger paws all over it...
