Miley Cyrus finally shows up for Dave Days' YouTube video
Dave Days has become a YouTube celebrity in his own right. Two years ago, he began making parody videos in his basement as an alternative to doing "summer teenager things" like "hanging out with girls and drinking drugs."
Many of these videos included a cardboard cut-out of Miley Cyrus as Hannah Montana. His parody of Miley's song "7 Things," in which he sings about the plight of being in love with a cardboard stand-up ("It's awkward and it's silent / because cardboard can not speak") has been viewed over 19 million times.
On Sunday (March 28) Dave posted a video of himself insisting that he was done singing to the fake Miley... but the real Miley Cyrus interrupted him just in time! Dave's video, "My Last Song for Miley," (get it?) was posted on Wednesday (March 31). Miley finally answered his call!
In the video, Miley appears to Dave in a dream and says, "I've been watching your videos from the very beginning. How would you feel about a kiss?" Days thanks Walt Disney Pictures for finally helping him meet the non-cardboard Miley.
EDIT: A previous version of ths article said that Dave's video had been viewed "over 19 times." Which is true, but what we meant to say is "19 million."
