'Larry King' jokes about divorce on SNL: Who's the 'ancient pile of ash'?
Larry King's divorce got spoofed on "Saturday Night Live" in one of the show's funnier moments (Sorry, Ryan Phillippe) about the Iceland volcano.
"An ancient pile of ash has been set adrift. But enough about my divorce," faux Larry says.
He talks with Icelandic singer Bjork (played by Kristen Wiig) who tells Larry (OK, it's Fred Armisten). "We're a tiny rock that's destroying the world," and adds that the positive note about the volcano is that "Iceland is now the number one exporter of volcanic ash."
Larry ends with a riddle, "What has two arthritic thumbs and needs a ninth wife?"
That was too easy, Lar.

Someone please tell Fred Armisen you have to actually sound like the person you're trying to impersonate.
