Justin Bieber is down with hip-hop, starts beef with JoBros

When you think of Justin Bieber, surely the first thing that pops into your head is "hip-hop cred," right?Right? [Crickets.]
No? OK -- but the 16-year-old pop sensation and recent "Saturday Night Live" musical guest does feature Ludacris on his hit "Baby," and the video for the song features both Luda and Drake.
Still not convinced? Let Bieber explain it to you:
"I like hop-hop a lot. I'm really glad they've taken a liking to me," he tells MTV News. "Having Luda [on 'Baby'] and having Lil Wayne give me [a] shout out on UStream and, like, you know -- it's cool."
As to why he thinks he gets so much love from the hip-hop community, Bieber theorizes it's because "I didn't go through the Disney route. I didn't go corny, but, like, at the same time I've been cool and collected."
Uh-oh -- is he trying to start beef with Miley and the Jonas Brothers? Maybe not. "I mean, I just hang out with whoever. I'm also friends with Selena Gomez. I hang out with everyone."
Whew. Crisis averted.
