Julia Roberts is still People's Most Beautiful cover girl
Julia Roberts is (yawn) still beautiful. She was picked by People for the cover of their 2010 Most Beautiful People issue, an honor already bestowed on her FOUR times. Of course, she got knocked off the cover (a lovely photo appears inside) by America's Sweetheart Sandra Bullock's "Blind Side" adoption, which we hear has Miss Julia and her camp positively seething. Anyway, back to the issue at hand. Julia has been on People's Most Beautiful People list a dozen times. We're not saying that People is in a rut, trapped in some kind of '80s or '90s time machine or that this is a publicity ploy, but surely there are other -- how shall we put this -- more interesting and less well-known -- beauties "of the moment" out there?
While there's denying Julia is a beauty, The Dish Rag wonders if her latest cover for the 2010 Most Beautiful issue has less to do with her ageless beauty and more to do with banging the drum for her starring role in the upcoming "Eat, Pray, Love" summer movie, based on the best-selling book of the same name. It's due out in August.
By the way, while Justin Bieber, Robert Pattinson, Zoe Saldana made the beauty list, but absent from People's website gallery preview of 17 of the honorees are Blake Lively, Angelina Jolie or Kristen Stewart . Let's hope they're in the issue.

Angelina and Kristen also made the cut. Your list is incomplete. It's obvious People magazine is stuck in a time warp that they cannot exit. I knew this for sure when they put Johnny Depp on the cover of People's sexiest instead of Robert Pattinson. The good thing is that Rob is a bit young and should get a few more movies going first but it was obvious that Rob should have made the cover if People magazine were up to date. They are not and the Julia cover just confirms it. I'm happy the Sandra Bullock story bumped it although it sucks for her. Julia is beautiful but she doesn't seem very relevant today.
I love that sandra basically replaces julia. she did it on the cover, she did in the propsal, she did in the blind side. i`d love to have have seen julias reaction to be trumped once again...
